Lesson Plan 1

Hi Girls,

So we need to create 3 lesson plans using TaskStream and we all need to create different ones.

Charlotte and I were talking through text messages and we decided, after our professors comment about picking a main topic, we are going to choose a Vegetable Farmers Market as our main project.

Here are some of the Science GLCEs that correspond to our topic

2nd grade- Life Science- Organization of Living Things

L.OL.E.1 Life Requirements- Organisms have basic needs. Animals and plants need air, water, and food. Plants also require light. Plants and animals use food as a source of energy and as a source of building material for growth and repair.

L.OL.02.14 Identify the needs of plants.

L.OL.E.2 Life Cycles- Plants and animals have life cycles. Both plants and animals begin life and develop into adults, reproduce, and eventually die. The details of this life cycle are different for different organisms.

L.OL.02.22 Describe the life cycle of familiar flowering plants including the

Here are some of the Social Studies GLCEs that correspond to our topic

  2. Charlotte you will probably have more Social Studies standards, I just wasn't sure which ones we should use. Remember 2nd grade. If you need help let me know!

I will do the parts of a plant (life cycle lesson).

We should take a look at the technology standards too.

So Leah you can take idea vegetables to grow in our environment or if there is something else you are thinking of let us know. Try and respond soon since it is already Wednesday and it is the holiday weekend.

  3. For the website evals we have to evaluate three different websites each and fill out the word document (the link is on elearning). We then need to compile all of our evaluations into one document and then submit it.

Once we evaluate a website post it on here, so we know which websites each of us are using and we do not evaluate them twice.

  8. Now that I got to thinking, life cycle of a plant and parts of a plant are two separate topics. I will be doing life cycle of a plant. Wish me luck!
